Financial assistance, grant funding, scholarships, and/or private funding may be available to eligible candidates for career training programs at Laurel Ridge Workforce Solutions. Below find a few opportunities to start your funding search.
Funding Options
- Workforce Credential Grant, G3, and FANTIC Funding* – Virginia residents who are legally domiciled in the state may qualify for the Workforce Credential Grant (WCG). This means that Virginia is your true, permanent home for at least the last 12 months, and you intend to stay in Virginia. WCG funding is based on domicile, not income—and can reduce the cost of a FastForward class to one-third (1/3). We also have additional tuition assistance called G3/FANTIC. This funding is based on income and can potentially cover the remaining balance and make the class FREE for eligible students. *All funding is subject to change based on availability.
