Textbooks

Some textbooks and supplies are not included in the price of the class. They can be purchased from the school bookstore or a third-party vendor prior to class. Please read the class description on the web for further information about textbooks that may be included or required to purchase prior to class.

Refund Policies

Standard Refund Policy

You must give a minimum of three business days’ notice prior to the class to be eligible for a refund. Approved refunds may take up to three to four weeks to process depending on the payment method.

Veteran GI Bill Funded Class Refund Policy

Veterans eligible under Title 38 of the U.S. Code are processed in accordance with the provision of Title 38. B. The college will refund institutional charges to veterans who fail to enter, withdraw or are discontinued prior to completion of a course subject to limitations set in 38CFR21.4255 . Refunds from diploma or certificate programs are prorated according to the number of instructional days remaining in the academic term.

Senior Discount

If you are at least 60 years of age and a legal resident of Virginia, you may be eligible to register for a Workforce Solutions class at no charge, except for established fees for course/laboratory materials and/or books. Class availability is based on the enrollment meeting the full-paying student minimum enrollment per Virginia Community College System guidelines. Students interested in receiving the senior discount must call one business day before the class starts. The senior discount will be limited to one person per class and it’s on a first-come, first-serve basis. As a courtesy to fellow seniors, who may wish to take our classes, we ask that applicants limit this benefit to once per six months.
