PluggedInVA is an education and career training program of the Nothern Shenandoah Valley Adult Education Program at Laurel Ridge Community College. Students looking to gain the skills they need to get their next job or career can find assistance through this unique program.
Core components of the program benefit students with the following:
- Contextualized Adult Ed/GED
- Digital Literacy
- Career Readiness Certificate
- 21st Century Skills
- Workplace Readiness
- Industry Recognized Credential or Degree
- Capstone Project
- Industry Involvement
- Cover letter and resume
- Interview Skills
While all Adult Education and PIVA core components are free, there are fees for Career Training. PIVA Coordinators will work with all students to explore multiple tuition assistance options.
