DESCRIPTION:This is a hands-on class where you will learn the complete aspects of the lathe and the milling machines. On the lathe machine you will learn facing\, turning\, drilling\, hand tapping\, single point threading\, knurling\, and turning angles. On the milling machine you will learn: milling metal\, including part of the set up\, drilling\, taping\, boring\, cutting keyways and more. \nThe Mechanical Schematics Drawing and Reading class is a prerequisite to this course for students who do not have industry experience.
