Working at the front desk of a medical office requires strong organizational skills\, professionalism\, and problem-solving abilities. In this course\, you’ll learn office reception skills\, daily operations\, and effective communication techniques\, with a strong emphasis on mastering medical terminology.\nThis course is delivered through “live online” classes\, and access to a computer and reliable internet is required. Upon successful completion\, you will be eligible to take the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Textbooks and exam fees are included in the cost of the course.\nIf you’re a “people person” with an interest in healthcare\, this may be the perfect opportunity to start your career! \nRegistered students must attend a required Healthcare Orientation prior to the start of class.
