DESCRIPTION:This live online seminar meets the Virginia Board of Dentistry’s Radiation Certification requirement (18VAC60-30-80)\, enabling individuals to be certified to take dental X-rays in Virginia. Please note that this course does not provide clinical training in taking X-rays. The focus is on the safe use of X-ray equipment. Instructional methods include PowerPoint presentations\, lectures\, and question-and-answer sessions. No X-ray radiation will be administered during the class. Clinical competence in producing dental radiographs is not an expected outcome. An exit assessment will be conducted at the end of the course for certificate issuance. Pre-work must be completed before the class begins.
