The Education Consortium is a collaborative effort among Fauquier, Frederick, Shenandoah, Warren, Rappahannock and City of Winchester Public schools and Lord Fairfax Community College to create local access to professional development training for all school system personnel.

  • Teachers from participating school systems can choose from over 40 FREE summer seminars in Middletown and Warrenton.
  • Pre-approved by area school systems for recertification points.
  • A diversity of topics for various subject areas and all grade levels.
  • Nationally-known as well as local education experts
  • Classes vary in length from 4 to 8 hours

Gerry Brooks to Speak at the 2021 LFCC Education Consortium

Gerry Brooks is principal at an elementary school in Lexington, Kentucky. His educational experience includes six years in the classroom, two years as an intervention specialist, and 12 years as an administrator.

The session will focus on personal climate and culture. Personal climate culture is our attitudes and actions towards those we work with. Having a positive personal climate and culture will help you to succeed in whatever position you hold.
